Horizontal boring mills give Craftsman the capability to machine plates on all 4 sides with only one set up.  Craftsman has CNC and manual boring mills.  Our largest Horizontal machining center holds up to 90 tool changes and has a 360-degree indexing table. 

Some of the work we do in our horizontal and boring mills include, but are not limited to:

• Spindle repairs

• Deep tapered walls

• Side locks for plates done in assembly within 1 set up

• Complicated angle work and compound angle work with close tolerances
