Craftsman Tool & Mold specializes in manufacturing large, high volume, close tolerance custom mold frames including, but not limited to: shuttle, compression, unscrewing, rotational, multi-shot, die cast, rubber and 2 and 4-way stack.  Craftsman does die sets and Bolster plates.  We can include manifold plates to finish your mold base complete.  Our unscrewing bases can include a super structure and cam bars if desired.  We have the capabilities to do multiple set ups to decrease delivery time.  Every job is made to our customer’s specifications.  We are a true custom mold shop!

Craftsman takes pride in the quality of our mold bases.  We take extra steps to minimize warped plates. We prerough all necessary plates, then stress relieve, before we proceed to finish ground.  The thickness of the plate is parallel and flat to our customers’ specifications. Through the craftsmanship of our experienced machinists and utilization of the latest technology, we produce reliable, accurate molds that seamlessly fit our customers’ cavity and cores. 

Our mold bases are manufactured in a climate-controlled environment, minimizing plate and machine movement, enhancing our ability to hold tight tolerances.  Craftsman also uses a Laser Interferometer to calibrate our CNC machines regularly to ensure their accuracy.
